Overview; TLDR
Juniper USED to be one of the most expensive, but following the market shake up – are now one of the most affordable and reliable options. Consultation & Ordering
The main thing I’ll mention about Juniper is you need to pay upfront, THEN do the consultation. I understand this can be quite daunting if you’re not sure whether you’re eligible or not – particularly as it’s a large upfront cost.
However, it took me no longer than 5 minutes – the consultation form itself was really quick and easy. Part of their process requires that you send a picture of your stomach (no clothes) so I did need to go find a mirror to do that. After that your application is reviewed usually within a few days.
Pro Tip: Taking advantage of my 20/20 hindsight, please take all the pictures possible, in lots of different outfits. You won't be this weight again!
Delivery
I live in Scotland, and Juniper delivered to me using DPD. However, this might have been because the first month’s box is huge!

The 'Juniper' App
The app is probably their main selling point. There’s comprehensive how-to guides and details of what to expect, recorded by one of their pharmacists. You also fill out a questionnaire at the start as to your current knowledge on exercise and diet, which then gives you a level/grade, and suggests plans for upskilling.
For me personally, I found the exercise questions to be a little patronising. They’re heavily weight lifting focused, whereas I’m a swimmer, kayaker, and want to lose weight to get back into adventure sports. Because of this, it assumed I knew next to nothing about exercise – simply because I prefer not to focus on weight lifting.
Re-ordering
You don’t have to manually re-order as it’s a subscription service, so they just take the payment automatically every 4 weeks. The payment schedule is available to view in your online account, and you can pause the subscription if you’d like. You can also get a healthy discount off your next purchase if you refer a friend!
Important: Sometimes the dose auto-increases, so be sure to select the right one ahead of time.
