Pharmacy Prime offer a number of different treatment options. All treatments are licensed by the MHRA (UK regulator) and designed to conveniently fit your lifestyle.
If you want to have more medical support in your weight loss journey, with no pressure to move up in dose, Pharmacy Prime Clinic are a great option. Their response times are superior to Juniper (in our tests), with phones answered by qualified professionals in seconds.
If you join Pharmacy Prime Clinic, you’re not just a number chucked on a standard plan – you’ll get a tailored and personalised service, with no hidden fees.
After requesting a treatment through the online consultation, patients are asked to send in photo of their scales reading to verify their weight. For those transferring from another pharmacy, you’ll also need to provide evidence of your last prescription).
A prescriber will review your responses in detail, and if there are any red flags or concerns, they’ll call you before deciding whether to prescribe the treatment. Don’t worry if you can’t get to the phone, they’ll drop you an email so you can call them back at a time that suits you. If approved, medication is then sent out the same day – and delivered next day (unless you state a different preferred delivery date).
Delivery is via Next Day Royal Mail Tracked & Signed For, which is included free of charge. Northern Ireland and offshore UK addresses are also supported through Royal Mail Special Delivery – again free of charge.
You need to actively re-order, but that’s part of the plan! They want to make sure you have regular check-ins and continue your journey safely, and not just automatically send medication each month. Yes, you need to manually reorder – but you’ll get a reminder in plenty time, and it’s to make sure you stay safe.
Pharmacy Prime Clinic go beyond providing prescriptions and medication. They provide significant wraparound support through telephone or video consultations with their clinical team; their average response rate is less than 10 seconds! Additionally, you get 1:1 support from qualified nutritionists included as part of the service – no extra charges or hidden fees.
With extensive clinical experience, they are in a position to provide support for higher-risk patients such as those with diabetes or who are a little older. The best bit is they don’t charge any more for this – they’ll tailor their service to your needs.
Lastly, Pharmacy Prime Clinic works directly with both the manufacturers of Wegovy (Novo Nordisk) and Mounjaro (Eli Lilly) as preferred suppliers within the UK. This means there’s no middlemen, and they get all the latest updates, information and guidance straight from the source.
Again, this is completely tailored to you. You’ll have a more in-depth conversation to your monthly check-in once you reach a healthy BMI to discuss your future plans. Between BMI 23-25 you’ll have the option to de-escalate your dose to a comfortable maintenance dose, or wean off the medication. Once you reach a BMI of 21, when continued weight loss may cause other increased risks like malnutrition or muscle loss, they will stop prescribing. This is in the interest of your overall health and well-being – and should your BMI increase again, there is the option to restart medication.
