Consultation & Ordering
After requesting a treatment through the online consultation, patients are asked to send in photo of their scales reading to verify their weight. For those transferring from another pharmacy, you’ll also need to provide evidence of your last prescription).
A prescriber will review your responses in detail, and if there are any red flags or concerns, they’ll call you before deciding whether to prescribe the treatment. Don’t worry if you can’t get to the phone, they’ll drop you an email so you can call them back at a time that suits you. If approved, medication is then sent out the same day – and delivered next day (unless you state a different preferred delivery date).
Delivery
Delivery is via Next Day Royal Mail Tracked & Signed For, which is included free of charge. Northern Ireland and offshore UK addresses are also supported through Royal Mail Special Delivery – again free of charge.
Re-ordering
You need to actively re-order, but that’s part of the plan! They want to make sure you have regular check-ins and continue your journey safely, and not just automatically send medication each month. Yes, you need to manually reorder – but you’ll get a reminder in plenty time, and it’s to make sure you stay safe.
Important: Everyone is treated as an individual, but you’ll be encouraged to stay on the smallest dose for the longest time possible, as long as the treatment is still effective and you’re losing weight.

Pharmacy Prime's Approach to Maintenance
Again, this is completely tailored to you. You’ll have a more in-depth conversation to your monthly check-in once you reach a healthy BMI to discuss your future plans. Between BMI 23-25 you’ll have the option to de-escalate your dose to a comfortable maintenance dose, or wean off the medication. Once you reach a BMI of 21, when continued weight loss may cause other increased risks like malnutrition or muscle loss, they will stop prescribing. This is in the interest of your overall health and well-being – and should your BMI increase again, there is the option to restart medication.
