MedExpress offer a number of different treatment options. Everything is UK-licensed and designed to fit your lifestyle.

Overview; TLDR

MedExpress is a good choice for your first order, especially if you’re worried it won’t work. However, if you plan to stay on medication more than 12-24 months, there are other options that provide more support and longer maintenance plans.

Consultation & Ordering

It took me no longer than 5 minutes – mainly because I had to go weigh myself for the first time in forever – the consultation form itself was really quick and easy. Once I’d done that, I needed to find a full length mirror for a quick selfie. It’s fully clothed, but they do need it to be head to toe, preferably in tight fitted clothing.

This is bonus if you don’t want to take starting pictures – but I do highly recommend doing that separately. I had convinced myself that like everything else it probably won’t work – and so I didn’t. But using my 20/20 hindsight, please take all the pictures possible, in lots of different outfits. You won’t be this weight again!

Price Match

MedExpress will price match a limited number of pharmacies, and your request must be claimed within a specific time period after ordering. However, I highly recommend doing this!

Delivery

I live in Scotland, and MedExpress deliver to me using Royal Mail Tracked 24. They keep you up to date via email, or you can check the My Account page on the website.

Re-ordering

Re-ordering is quick and easy from the previous orders page within My Account. You can either choose to stay on the same dose, or move up one, and you’ll need to give an updated weight. You can’t reorder straight away, but you’ll get text and email reminders to make sure you never run out of your medication.

Sometimes the dose defaults back to the lowest, so just make sure you pick the right one.

FAQs

Has MedExpress got a referral scheme?

Yes, but as of 23rd April 2025 referral codes must only be shared directly with friends and family. Referral codes cannot be shared on social media or posted online. You can read the full statement from MedExpress here.

Is MedExpress a reputable company?

Yes, MedExpress is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), registration number 9011509.

Do MedExpress contact your GP?

Yes, providing you give consent, they’ll send a letter to your GP informing them of any treatment prescribed. This typically also includes any measurements you give them (height, weight, BMI), and any conditions you have highlighted don’t apply to you.

Although it might sound daunting, particularly for those of us who have had judgement from GPs for years, but it’s not a bad thing. This is, at the heart of it, a patient safety protocol, ensuring that you’ve not lied to be prescribed medication you’re not actually entitled to – or it’s not safe for you to use.

How long does MedExpress take to deliver?

MedExpress typically use Royal Mail Tracked 24, so it’ll arrive within 24-48 hours from dispatch.

What is the purpose of MedExpress?

Lifted from their website, MedExpress believe clinically proven treatments should be easily accessible to everyone. Online pharmacies allow you to get medication discreetly delivered to your door, without needing to wait for an in-person appointment or visit your local pharmacy.
